President Alan Penn and President-elect Tom DeJulio have extended a Model Club Challenge to save mothers and babies. By accepting the Model Club Challenge, governors and governors-elect are stepping up to either give a Model Club commitment to the campaign from their home club or get another club to sign on as a Model Club.
A Model Club commitment is a commitment of a US$750 per-member average. With the power to save or protect more than 416 lives per member, Kiwanis leaders all over the world are committing their clubs to be Model Clubs.
As of April 1, The Eliminate Project has secured more than 112 Model Clubs and 14 100K Clubs. With a goal of saving or protecting 10 million lives by Kiwanis International Convention, all Kiwanians should aid their governors in the achievement of the Model Club challenge.
A Model Club commitment breaks down to 41 cents a day – how can you say no?
