Governor and Administrator Training Conference 2010

ARRIVALS

Governors should arrive to the hotel by 4 p.m. on Thursday, April 8.

Administrators should arrive to the hotel by 5 p.m. on Friday, April 9 (see optional campus tour information).

DEPARTURES

Please plan your departure from the hotel after 9:30 a.m. on Sunday, April 11. If you are registering for the optional CLE certification training from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., please plan to depart for the airport after 2:00 (lunch will be provided for CLE certification participants).

WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY CAMPUS TOUR

On Friday, April 9, we will departing for Washington University at 12:30 p.m. to tour the site of the 2010 International Convention. The tour will include lunch and a campus overview tour.

NOTE TO ADMINISTRATORS: The campus tour originally was scheduled on Sunday; however, the St. Louis marathon takes place that day and the route cuts through Washington University and disrupts traffic flow. If you wish to take part in the campus tour, please arrive at the hotel by 12:15 p.m. You will not be able to check in to your hotel room at this time, but you can join us for the campus tour and then check in when you return about 4 p.m.

Below is an at-a-glace GATC schedule. A detailed schedule will follow once all the workshops and event functions are confirmed.    

Thursday, April 8  

Noon to 5:00—Governors arrive and check in to hotel; registration and informal activities

5:00 to 6:15—Welcome and opening session

6:30 to 8:00—Dinner Post dinner—Training session and social activity  

Friday, April 9 7:30 to Noon—Breakfast, governors training sessions

11:00 to 12:15—Administrators wishing to tour Washington University should arrive

12:30 to 3:30—Campus tour and lunch at Washington University

4:00 to 6:15—Free time

6:00 to 7:30—Welcome and dinner

7:30 to 9:00—Governors and Administrators Training sessions

9:00 to 11:00—Social activity  

Saturday, April 10

7:30 to 11:45—Breakfast and Governors and Administrators Training sessions

Noon to 1:00—Lunch

1:00 to 4:00—Kiwanis One-Day service project in conjunction with Governors and Administrators Training conversations

 4:30 to 6:45—Governors and Administrators breakout sessions

7:00 to 9:00—Dinner

Sunday, April 11

7:30 to 9:00—Farewell breakfast (please plan your departures after 9:30 a.m.)

9:00 to 1:00—Optional CLE certification training
