Builders Club
Becoming a member
Builders Club is an international student-led program providing members with opportunities to perform service, build character and develop leadership. It is open to middle and junior high school students. Clubs are chartered in partnership with a Kiwanis club and a school or community-based organization serving middle or junior high school students. A Key Club (for high school students) or a Circle K club (for college or university students) can be a co-sponsor of a Builders Club.
For more information about starting a Builders Club, request the Builders Club introductory kit. This kit introduces Builders Club to interested individuals. The information can be used by Kiwanis-club members to share information about Builders Club with club members and middle school principals interested in chartering a Builders Club.
For complete chartering materials when a school or community-based organization has agreed to build a Service Leadership Program with a Kiwanis Club, check out the online Builders Club chartering toolkit. The information will assist the Kiwanis advisor and faculty advisor in chartering the Builders Club with Kiwanis International.
If you want to reactivate a Builders Club, complete the Builders Club reactivation form and submit it to Kiwanis International. Please don’t hesitate to contact Member Services at 317-875-8755 (worldwide) or 800-KIWANIS (800-549-2647, US and Canada), ext. 411, or email at memberservices@kiwanis.org if you have questions.
